Excellent low mileage reliable example. Garaged. Oxfordshire.
Bought June 2007. 10,000 miles done in last 3 years. 2008 spent in Europe.
Work done includes: New power steering rack. New brake pads and shoes at
45k, cooling fan replaced, new headlamps, alternator replaced at 49k, new
power steering belt & tensioner, new battery & front tyres ( Dec. 09),
replaced front top wishbone inner bushes. Front wheel bearings adjusted. New
Radio/CD player, etc.
Engine oil & filter changed yearly.
Tappets set Feb. 10, carb. serviced / set Jun. 10. New plugs / distrbr
Dec.08 , etc.
Unused new spares include front wheel bearings, silencer. Ford Granada 2.8
workshop manual (2 vols.) & Scimitar colour brochure. Still has original
toolkit.
Records of
work done by current and previous owners date back to 1993.
There is a
cover for the folded-down soft-top. The hard roof is with my brother who
lives in Prague. It is in excellent condition. Photos provided if
interested. He will ship the roof if the buyer will pay the £400 shipping
cost. For sale because he has too many cars.

is in very good original condition and is an excellent runner. Very
reliable. It has highly polished wolfrace wheels and a new clutch. Hard top

1985 Granada Red –Automatic
Personalised plate- C1 GTC
This superb Scimitar GTC,
owned since 2003, has always been garaged and only used in fine weather on
‘high days and holidays’. Is ready to be enjoyed immediately with absolutely
nothing to do to it. The paintwork is very good and original. There is the
odd local repair to paint chips. There is slight paint shading on the
scuttle in front of the driver’s window. This is one of the last GTCs made,
being no 421 of 442 produced, and therefore has the galvanised chassis. Car
is in very good condition throughout. The radio/cassette player is
Panasonic. Michelin MXV tyres, on Wolfrace wheels. Spare is also a
Wolfrace. New stainless steel exhausts last year. Engine ticks over well,
is nice and smooth, but nicely throaty! There are rear headrests. Electric
windows. Electric aerial. Door cards and carpet are good. Car has an alarm.
Black velour interior. I had the underneath Waxoiled a couple of years ago.
There is a factory hardtop with heated rear window, and new headliner.
Leather sporty steering wheel. Full Service History. Mohair tonneau cover
made especially. Special tow-bar made by the local forge, as advised in the
club magazine, so that if ever the car should need to be towed, with this
design it does not damage the front end. There is a superb wind deflector.
The personalised number plate must be the best ever for a GTC, and must be
worth at least £1000 on its own. There are many spares and extras to be

An immaculate 1985 GTC No 413, Manual /
Overdrive
This car was front end resprayed last year due
to stone chips and rest of body mopped
Wolfrace wheels have been
professionaly polished and are as new with perfect tyres.
Hood has a small tear (inside) where press
stud was not released ! which is being professionally repaired next week
Factory hard top included which is as new and
was relined last year with top quality (Rolls Royce) carpet.
Professional top end engine rebuild last year
due to burnt valve - engine sounds lovely.
Car shows 92,000 and I have a stack of old
MOT's.
No known faults and runs great.

1985 Scimitar 2.8 GTC 2dr Convertible.
Manual Overdrive. S/S Exhausts. New Hood and v.g.c original Hardtop.
Champagne body with champagne/mushroom interior. Excellent original
condition throughout. Galvanised Chassis from new.
Comprehensive service history, serviced mainly by UK Scimitar specialists
(including a recently reconditioned power steering rack by QRG Scimitar).
Many new parts fitted as per routine maintenance including new radiator,
electric fan, water pump and associated pipework, recent clutch and rear
shock absorber/spring assemblies. Brakes completely overhauled by Graham
Walker at last service
I have replaced the Headlamps with the new plastic backed reflector type -
so they'll never rust again! - and the car has had the standard headlamp
switch relay modification to bring the electrics in this area up to modern
standards.
I have had modern 3 point inertia reel seat belts fitted in the rear of the
vehicle by a Scimitar specialist to replace the original lap belts.
Selling reluctantly after 10 years of ownership due to family commitments.
Current agreed insurance value £9000.

brown velour interior trim. XJS Mirrors. In the last three years it has had
a new hood, a full respray, new carpets, new tyres, full suspension overhaul
and new steering rack!!! Wolfrace wheels have been sandblasted and painted
Silver and there is a wooden dash kit. Car drives superbly and the interior
is perfectly dry in all weathers. Car has huge history file and has been
